Apple just unveiled its long-awaited folding phone, and the reaction on this show wasn’t about the design. Shane and Ryan run the actual math on the price tag, and it isn’t close to what either of them expected walking in.
The comparison gets specific fast. One version of the phone costs more than several used cars combined, and even the smallest model outprices a MacBook that could realistically last over a decade. Once financing and an average phone plan are added on top, the real monthly cost turns into a number most people wouldn’t willingly commit to out loud.
